1.        Hohai University scholarship students and governmental scholarship students share the same education outlay standard: RMB 6, 000 for master’s degree candidates (3 years) and RMB 8, 000 for doctor’s degree candidates (3 years). The outlays are rendered in each academic year. Those who extend their study duration will not get extra education outlays.

2.        Usually, education outlay for the fresh students is rendered in the following January, others in September.

3.        Education outlay for international students is allocated to the outlay book of their supervisors, and is to be used according to the supervisor’s reasonable arrangements.

4.        The students must apply to their supervisors in advance for using the outlay and can use the outlay only with the supervisor’s consent.

5.        Educational outlay for international students is usually used for books,     duplicated materials, traveling expenses for survey and information collection, and expenses for attending relevant academic meetings and oral defenses for their dissertations.

6.        If the students use up their allocated outlay before graduation, they will take upon themselves all the other expenses.
