Lecture Title: Topic Selection and Writing of Think Tank Report in Colleges and Universities from the Perspective of Management Disciplines


Speaker introduction: Yu Junli, Ph.D. in Management, Associate Professor and Doctoral Supervisor of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Director of the Research Center for Business Environment and High-quality Industrial Development, Researcher of China Academy of Urban Governance, Chinese Government Audit Center, and Antai Institute of Economics and Management. He has been engaged in research work at the Business School of Chinese University of Hong Kong and China Europe International Business School. He serves as the deputy editor-in-chief of the Journal of Accounting History, the deputy editor-in-chief and editorial board member of SN Social Science, the editorial board member of Urban Governance, an expert in the evaluation of a number of national and Shanghai funds, and a consultant (independent director) of a number of listed companies. He has won awards (titles) such as Shanghai Chenguang Scholar, Outstanding Accounting Paper Award of the Ministry of Finance, Outstanding Paper Award for Young and Middle-aged Accounting and Auditing in Shanghai, Achievement Award for Participation in Politics and Discussion of Politics of the Central Committee of the Democratic Progressive Party, and Special Prize for Achievements of China Think Tank. He has presided over more than 20 projects at or above the provincial and ministerial level, such as the National Natural Science Fund, the National Social Science Fund, the Humanities and Social Sciences Project of the Ministry of Education, the China Postdoctoral Fund, and the Shanghai Decision-making Consulting, and has mainly researched 3 major (key) projects of the National Natural Science Foundation and the National Social Science Fund. He has published in Literary Research, Accounting Research, Auditing Research, Management Review, Nankai Management Review, Journal of Management Engineering, Journal of Business Ethics, Accounting and Finance, Accounting, Auditing & Accountability Journal, and Pacific-Basin Finance He has published more than 50 papers in important SSCI/CSSCI journals such as Journal. Independently or as a writer, he has published theoretical articles or been interviewed in media such as Learning Power, Jiefang Daily, China Business Network, China.com, Phoenix.com, and Economic Observer. The Advisory Advice (Decision-making Consultation Report) has been adopted more than 50 times (instructions from major leaders) by governments at or above the national level such as the Office of the CPC Central Committee, the Office of the State Council, the National Security Commission, the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, and the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, and has been partially implemented, involving high-quality development, business environment, urban vitality, inclusive finance and finance, and capital market development.

 

Report content: It is planned to share the experience of think tank construction in financial colleges and universities and the writing of political advice, focusing on the three aspects of practical needs, topic selection and writing requirements, specifically facing the five onlys, talent goals and think tank needs, and analyzing the topic selection direction of observers, designers, salesmen, purchasers and researchers, and proposing six writing strategies of theme screening, article layout, material selection, value evaluation, opinion refinement and language modification.
