On May 12-15, 2024, the AMBA&BGA Global Conference was held in Budapest, Hungary, where representatives from more than 100 business schools from around the world gathered to discuss the new trends and developments in business and management education. Professor Zhang Changzheng, Deputy Dean of HHBS, Professor Zhang Ke, Deputy Dean of HHBS , Professor Zhou Haiwei, Vice Dean, and Associate Professor Zang Dexia, Director of the International Accreditation and Quality Improvement Office, attended the event on behalf of our school.
During the conference, a total of 16 keynote presentations and 16 parallel sub-forums were held on topics such as reputation management, technology and innovation, sustainable entrepreneurship, leadership development, market best practices, equity and inclusion in business schools.
In the sub-venue of the Business School Featured Exhibition, chaired by Professor Wang Chongming, General Counsel of AMBA&BGA China, Senior Professor of Liberal Arts at Zhejiang University, and Director of the Global Entrepreneurship Research Center of Zhejiang University, George Iliev, Head of AMBA&BGA Certification China, and Wendy Loreto, Professor of Edinburgh Business School, our school focused on the teaching and research of water characteristics, as well as the case development achievements of our school in water management, green innovation, responsibility and sustainable management.
This participation in the conference has further strengthened the close ties between Business School of Hohai University and international organizations such as AMBA&BGA, laid a solid foundation for the subsequent re-accreditation work, and is of great significance for our school to grasp the development trend of global business schools, explore opportunities for international exchanges and cooperation, and improve the level of business education and international influence.
