Zhang Yingying, Secretary-General of IFSAM and professor at International University of Japan, visited our Business School

     On August 21, 2025, Professor Zhang Yingying, Secretary-General of the International Federation of Scholarly Associations of Management (IFSAM) and professor at International University of Japan, visited our Business School. She was received by Professor Zhang Changzheng, Dean of Business School, Professor Zhang Hengjie, Deputy Dean, Professor Zhang Yang, Dean of the World Water Valley Institute and Professor Tang Zhen, Deputy Dean of the Institute, with whom she held productive exchanges.

     During the symposium, Dean Zhang Changzheng extended a warm welcome to Professor Zhang Yingying. He emphasized that in today's deeply globalized world, enhancing exchanges between our school and international organizations is highly significant for aligning our business education with international standards. Our school looks forward to strengthening cooperation with IFSAM and its member institutions to promote practical collaboration in areas such as international resource sharing, academic visits and exchanges, the development of transnational research teams, and the publication of high-level academic achievements. Professor Zhang Yang, former President of IFSAM, introduced the organization's development history and proposed feasible suggestions for multidimensional cooperation between Business School of Hohai University, the World Water Valley Institute, and IFSAM.

     Professor Zhang Yingying expressed her gratitude for the warm reception and outlined IFSAM's recent strategic priorities. She stated that IFSAM serves as a platform for free exchange among global management associations and scholars, highly values cooperation with Chinese universities, and is willing to strengthen collaboration with our school in areas such as program development and academic exchanges to support the enhancement of our internationalization level.

     Finally, both parties reached consensus on several key initiatives, including jointly establishing a transnational case library, setting up an IFSAM Asia branch, forming an IFSAM Youth Committee, and participating in the IFEAMA annual conference, sharing a common vision for a promising future.
