Professor Gady Jacoby, Dean of the Faculty of Management at the UBC and Professor Wan Fang from the University of Manitoba, Canada visited our Buisenss School

     On July 19, 2025, Professor Gady Jacoby, Dean of the Faculty of Management at the University of British Columbia (UBC), Canada, and Professor Wan Fang from the University of Manitoba, Canada, visited our business school. They were received by Professor Zhang Changzheng, Dean of Business School, along with Deputy Dean Zhang Ke and Deputy Dean Zhang Hengjie, for professional exchanges.

      Dean Zhang Changzheng extended a warm welcome to Dean Jacoby and Professor Wan. He emphasized the significant importance of strengthening international cooperation in business education within the context of global educational integration. Our school looks forward to engaging in practical collaboration in areas such as international joint programs, faculty and student exchanges, the development of international research teams, and the publication of high-quality academic achievements, to jointly advance internationalization. Subsequently,            Deputy Dean Zhang Hengjie presented the school's progress in faculty internationalization and research globalization, introduced the ongoing international degree programs, and held in-depth discussions on potential pathways for collaborative education with UBC. Deputy Dean Zhang Ke highlighted the distinctive features and cultivation system of the school's MBA program, expressing the hope to enhance cooperation with UBC in curriculum co-development and postgraduate training.

   Dean Gady Jacoby expressed gratitude for the warm reception and provided an update on the latest developments of UBC. He stated that UBC highly valued cooperation with Chinese universities and was willing to deepen exchanges with our school in talent cultivation and scientific research, working together to promote high-quality development of international higher education cooperation between both institutions.

     Professor Wan Fang engaged in thorough discussions with our faculty on the development of international gold-standard courses and leadership programs for women. Both sides conducted fruitful explorations regarding curriculum system optimization and teaching innovation.
