University of Windsor Visited Hohai University

The delegation from University of Windsor, headed by Vice President  Dingci Gao, visited Hohai University on April 22nd. Vice President Weiya Xu met with the delegation. 

Vice President Weiya Xu introduced Hohai University’s basic information of talent cultivation and discipline construction. He proposed a deeper cooperation in exchanges of students and teachers, running school, collaborative research, Hohai University’s administrators training in University of Windsor, summer programs, recreational activities and so on. Vice President Dingci Gao introduced the basic information about University of Windsor and its featured projects in international cooperation. He hoped the two sides would cooperate in the fields of environment studies, mechanical and electrical engineering and business education, as well as  promote cooperation in exchanges of students and administrators training.

University of Windsor is a public comprehensive and research university in Canada. The University of Windsor has nine faculties, including the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences, the Faculty of Education, the Faculty of Engineering, Odette School of Business, the Faculty of Graduate Studies, the Faculty of Human Kinetics, the Faculty of Law, the Faculty of Nursing, and the Faculty of Science. It has established well-known research centers such as Waterloo Centre for Automotive Research (WatCAR) and Great Lakes Institute for Environmental Research (GLIER).

Relevant personnel from Department of Student, International Office, International School, College of Environment, Business School, Department of Physical Education and College of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering attended the meeting.
