The University of Western Australia Visited Hohai University and Signed MoU

Recently, Professor Ian Watt, Vice-Chancellor of International Affairs, the University of Western Australia, headed delegation to our university. President Hui Xu of Hohai University met the delegation and signed Memorandum of Understanding.

President Hui Xu warmly welcomed Vice-Chancellor Ian Watt and his delegation to Hohai University again. The two sides signed a short-term student exchange agreement. According to the agreement, the students of Hohai University can study  at the University of Western Australia for one or two semesters as exchange students. The exchange students will be registered as the student of the University of Western Australia and enjoy the same rights and services with other students there during the exchange period. And at the end of the courses, they also need to accept the same test or assessment with other students.

In July, Vice-Chancellor Ian Watt visited us and signed a cooperative framework agreement. On the basis of the consolidation the earlier cooperation, the two sides hope to keep expanding areas for cooperation and strengthening the exchange and interaction in more forms, strengthen exchanges and interaction, and enhance the discipline level jointly through cooperation to serve the growing socio-economic development.

Founded in 1913, the University of Western Australia is the member of the Group of Eight. As one of the best five-star universities in Australia, the level of research, teachers and graduate satisfaction has owned the five-star rating in the Australian discipline evaluation.
