Recently, the delegation from Smart Water Platform of South Australia visited Hohai University. Vice President Xu Weiya met with the delegation.
Vice President Weiya Xu reviewed the history of Hohai University and introduced Hohai University’s progress and achievements in international cooperation, talent cultivation and discipline construction in recent years. Hon Karlene Maywald, Chairman of International Centre of Excellence in Water Resources Management of South Australia, introduced South Australia’s historical experience and method in watershed management. Both sides exchanged opinions on the possible areas of Taihu Lake watershed management cooperation, the framework for watershed management and its development opportunities and information exchange.
Relevant personnel from International Office and College of Hydrology and Water Resources attended the meeting.
