Recently, Hongwu Tang, Vice President of Hohai University led a delegation to visit Australian cooperation universities.
During his visit to the University of Western Australia, the delegation met with Professor Anu Rammohan, Vice President of International Cooperation, Professor John Dell, Dean of Engineering and Mathematical Sciences, and Professor Tim Sercombe, Dean of the School of Engineering. The two sides reviewed the existing cooperation between the two universities and were satisfied with the results of the cooperation. On behalf of Hohai University, Tang Hongwu signed an agreement with the other side to go to the University of Western Australia to conduct a 3+2 joint training project. The two sides also discussed the short-term mutual visits of students and the overseas training programs of our school administrators.
During the visit, the delegation also visited Monash University and the University of Melbourne respectively, met with the school leaders of the two universities. And Initial cooperation intentions were reached in jointly established credit recognition project of the two universities, the China Scholarship Foundation funded doctoral students joint training program, short-term mutual visits of students program and the overseas training programs of our school administrators.
