A group of short-term exchange students from the University of Western Australia, led by teachers from the International Office and the College of International Education, Hohai University, visited the Three Gorges Dam during February 23 to 26, 2013, which marked the end of the three-month exchange.
During the trip, students were amazed by the beauty of the Three Gorges, the majesty of the bidirectional two-layer shiplock, the subtleties of Gezhouba Shiplock, and attracted by Chinese traditional culture through the visit of a local folk-custom villages.
The University of Western Australia and Hohai University maintain long-term relationships of cooperation. The visit helps to carry out the opportunities of international exchange and cooperation, strengthen exchanges and promote the development of both sides.
