Signing Ceremony of Sino-Dutch Cooperation Agreement on Jiangsu Coast Development and the international workshop were held at Hohai University on 5th June. Prof. Yuelong Zhu, Vice President of Hohai University , Mr. Dongsheng Deng, hairman of Jiangsu Coast Development Group, Mr. Tjitte Nauta, Regional Director South and East Asia of Stichting Deltares signed the Agreement together. Mr. Jinbo HU, Vice Director of Organization Department of Jiangsu province, Ms. Anne te Velde, Counsellor for Infrastructure and Environment, Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in China and Professor Tuo Zhu, Chairman of Hohai University were invited to the ceremony and delivered speeches. Zhongde WU, Director of International Exchange Center，Foreign Affairs Office of Jiangsu Provincial People’s Government，Jianqi DING, General Manager of Jiangsu Coast Development Group also attended the meeting.
Vice Director Hu Jinbo pointed out that “ the agreement is one of the major fruits of the ‘Jiangsu Culture Industry Attracting Overseas Talent Fair and Project Conference 2016’, it is an important measure by Jiangsu Coast Development Group and Hohai University to follow the provincial party and government’s talent development strategy and another step on our province’s road to raising talent levels to international standards.
After the signing ceremony, Hohai University,Jiangsu Coast and Deltares held round table conference on cooperation plan. Representatives of Harbour, Coastal and Offshore Engineering College, Water Conservancy and Hydropower Engineering College and International Office attended the meeting.
