Lianshui, Jiangsu, China, November 27th, 2017— Weihao Yan, a junior student from Business School of Hohai University, defeated his teammate Junchao Hu3-1 to win the title of 2017 World Ping Pong Cup crown. In January, 2017, he has become the first Chinese to win the championship of World Champion of Ping Pong. And now he is the first person in the world who crowned both World Ping Pong Cup and World Champion of Ping Pong.
Weihao Yan, majored in Human Resource Management in Hohai University, is an elite table tennis player, Ping Pong player and a hard-working student. He received the “ Chinese Ping Pong Ambassador” title on January 30th, 2017.
Ping Pong, the paddles of which are covered by sandpaper, is different from the common table tennis. Compare with table tennis, Ping Pong is more easy to learn and ornamental to watch because of the slower speed and less spin of the ball.
The World Championship of Ping Pong, also known as WCPP, is an annual ping pong tournament that has been held since 2011. The first World Ping Pong Cup is held in 2017, Jiangsu, China.
