Recently, Hohai University delegation attended the 5th China-Russia Transportation University Presidents Forum. The forum was hosted by the National Transportation University of St. Petersburg, Russia, to promote exchanges and cooperation between Chinese and Russian universities in the field of transportation. The leaders of the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, Russian Railways Bureau, and representatives of many universities in the transportation field of China and Russia attended the forum.
At the forum, as one of the founding members, Hohai University joined the BRICS Transportation Universities Presidents League and signed the statutes. The league was initiated by transportation universities of Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa, with the aim of strengthening the in-depth cooperation between transportation universities in the field of personnel training, scientific research, social services, etc, thus make contributions to the social and economic development of countries.
During the period, Vice President Weiya Xu, on behalf of Hohai University, signed a memorandum of inter-school cooperation with the National Transportation University of St. Petersburg, Russia.
