On 7th Dec, Chairman of the French side of Confucius Institute in Alsace, France, Michel Chéray and his delegation visited our school. Vice president of Hohai University, Weiya Xu, and deputy director ,Yu Weidong, of international cooperation and exchange office of Jiangsu provincial department of education, received the guests together.
Vice president, Weiya Xu gave a warm welcome to the arrival of delegation of Confucius Institute in Alsace, France, and introduced the basic situation of our school. On behalf of the department of education, deputy director Weidong Yu expressed recognition of Hohai University's work in supporting the construction of Confucius Institutes.Michel Chéray, together with the Chinese dean of Confucius Institute in Alsace, sent by our school, introduced the current situation of the development of the Confucius Institute and the focus of its work in 2019. Subsequently, the two sides further discussed the promotion of short-term exchanges between teachers and students, and the selection of Confucius Institute teachers and other matters.
The relevant personnel of the International Office of our school participated in this meeting.
