Professor Yinong Liu, the Vice-President of the University of Western Australia, visited our university on March 23.
Vice-President Xu Weiya received the guests warmly.
During the meeting, Vice President Xu Weiya firstly introduced guests our latest progress in the construction of Double First Rate , international exchanges and cooperation. He also pointed out that the cooperation between our university and the University of Western Australia has a long history and a solid foundation. He hoped that the bilateral exchanges among students would be strengthened and all-round cooperation would be carried out in the aspects of joint training of students and cooperative sponsorship of Sino-foreign cooperative school running projects in the future. President Liu agrees with President Xu's proposal and expresses his strong desire to create a long-term scientific research and student exchange cooperation project with Hohai University. He hoped that the two universities can deepen cooperation in the fields of 3+2 joint school running, doctoral joint training and Short-Term Student Exchange on the existing basis. Besides, the two universities discuss the issue of Co-construction of international joint laboratories and subject innovation and intellectual base.
Ms. Sandy NG, come from the Australian Education Association, and John Qian, the head of the association's China project, also presents the lecture.
Staff of the International Cooperation Department, the International Institute of Education and the Environmental College participated in the meeting as well.
