From March 16 to 19, Vice President Zheng Jinhai led a delegation of Hohai University to visit the University of Lille in France.
During the visit, the delegation was received by Nil Toulouse and Kathleen O'Connor, Vice-Presidents of the University of Lille. Kathleen O'Connor said that the two universities have a long history of cooperation and have achieved fruitful results in cooperation in running joint college, scientific research and student exchanges. She hoped that all-round cooperation can be carried out in more fields in the future.
The delegation visited the Consulate-General of the People's Republic of China in Strasbourg, the Education Section of the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in the French Republic, and the Confucius Institute in Alsace. It also visited some alumni of Hohai University in France.
