Recently, Professor Caroline Daley, Dean of Graduate Studies, Professor Nirmal Nair, Associate Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Ms. Lee Hsieh, International Manager of the International Office at the University of Auckland in New Zealand visited our university. Vice President Zheng Jinhai warmly received the guests.
The delegation held a symposium with relevant heads of the Graduate School and International Office, as well as teacher representatives of some colleges of Hohai University. Both sides agreed that they have a long history of cooperation and achieved fruitful outcomes in talent cultivation, international scientific research project and international conferences. They hoped to carry out high-level joint talent training programs in more advanced disciplines and create an excellent model for China-New Zealand higher education international cooperation in the future. With full discussion, both sides reached a preliminary cooperation intention on international cooperative training program for innovative talents and joint program of double phD degree.
