IEMC, co-initiated by several universities of the Russian Federation in 2005, has been held for 17 consecutive years. Since 2019, Hohai University has begun to host the IEMC (Asian Region) which consists of individual and team contests. The questions in the Contest are set in English and participants are required to answer questions in English. After two days of fierce competition, no more than six universities were selected to participate in the international contest held in Belarus. The Contest is an active attempt aimed at enhancing exchanges and fostering closer cooperation between Hohai University and universities in countries along the Belt and Road. Furthermore, it will facilitate the joint construction of the Belt and Road and exert a profound impact on the development of related disciplines such as mechanics.
