Hohai University has three campuses of 132 hectares. The main campus, covering 45 hectares is located at the northern foot of Qingliang Hill in Nanjing. With green shades of trees, fragrant in four seasons and an elegant environment, it has won the 400 Excellent Campus Awards in the National Virescence, and Jiangsu Provincial Awards of Garden University and Park Unit. Changzhou campus with its fine environment was established in February 1986. Fully equipped, it occupies an area of 30 hectares in the High-tech Development Zone of Changzhou. Jiangning campus of 57.6 hectares in Jiangning Economic Development Zone in the suburbs of Nanjing, started operation in September 2001 with superb campus construction and modern facilities for teaching and accommodation.
